Kendriya Vidyalaya I.V.R.I, Mukteshwar, District Nainital (Uttarakhand) came into existence in 1982 under the Indian Veterinary Research Institute.
Vidyalaya is run by Kendria Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi under the Ministry of Education. Vidyalaya is a single section school and affiliated with CBSE to the XII standard with the Science and Commerce stream.
